FLUX
An installation made up of suspended rocks set in motion by a simple mechanism.

This kinetic work by Pierce Warnecke and Clément Edouard tells the story of a vanished watercourse. Through plays of movement, light and sound, the rock reveals the memory that water left in it and transcribes its fluidity, its speed and the journey it began from the top of a mountain to the sea.

The installation offers a spatial and temporal compression of the relationship between water and rock, from the granite of the peaks to the sand of the deltas. It invites a sensitive and imaginary experience, highlighting the interdependence between humans and the surrounding environment.

The stones as well as the topographical layout and the sound materials broadcast in quadraphony were taken during different residences in Pays Des Vans in the Chassezac river (France).
